Nunn Ranch

The Ag Land Trust has purchased “in fee” the ownership of the 1302 acre Nunn Ranch (adjacent to Camp Roberts) with a grant from the U.S. Department of War. ALT has a decade long cooperative agreement with US DoW to purchase ranchlands and secure farmland conservation easement on lands in southern Monterey County and Northern San Luis Obispo Counties that are adjacent to Camp Roberts. The purpose of this Congressionally authorized agreement is to prohibit foreign entities from buying ranchlands and farms proximate to DoW military reservations. The Nunn Ranch is now leased to ALT’s longtime (private sector) ranching partners who operate our cattle ranch properties.
